Blessed Rain

Unfortunately we had to cancel the farmers market at Blue 42 Market Saturday due to a chance of thunderstorms that ended up not materializing until we would have started breaking down anyway, sorry about that. I imagine if you saw the forecast, you weren’t too keen on getting out in it either. The good news is that the show should go on next weekend with Aires Plant Medicine, Dreamcatcher Nursery, Chattahoochee Mermaid and our other regulars setting up to provide you with fresh eggs and produce, cool art, and various plants for your home and garden. We’re previously engaged with the Dahlonega Arts Alliance for Art Pop! at Accent Cellars the whole weekend.

Speaking of Accent Cellars, we had a meeting with our friends there to discuss the return of our winery foraging series! Mark your calendars for May 17 to grab a glass of wine and walk the grounds with us to explore the wild edibles. We found a great number of interesting wild plants today that we will help you identify and learn of the nutritive and traditional benefits. We’ll publish another update with further details, and information on sign-ups after we hear back from the winery this week. They’re going to handle that for us, so that we can focus on giving you the best information and experience while you’re there with us.

We really hope to see you all soon!
