Booth fees are $20 ($25 with card processing) per month -non refundable, from April until September, payable on the form below with a card, or cash in person to Simple Solstice Farms before the 4/18-19 market. Each payment gives access to 4 market days per month. Booth fees will help support the Blue 42 Market Little Farmers Program, encouraging children to have a positive experience with agriculture.
The market season will run from the 2nd Anniversary Festival in April until the Harvest Celebration in October. Space is limited so we’ll have a verification and vetting process outlined in the guidelines below.
Vendors are responsible for maintaining necessary licensing and compliance with regulations for the products they sell.
EGGS: As long as you have your candling license on display and follow regulations. If you don’t have a license, its a free class from the UGA Extension office, you can find the time and date of classes on their website.
COTTAGE INDUSTRY: A food handlers permit or Serve Safe certificate should be displayed by the vendor, along with any other required documents as necessary. All required documents are on the Georgia Department of Agriculture and Lumpkin County websites respectively.
Our first market is April 18-19 for 4/20 Fest to celebrate the anniversary of Blue 42 Market, weekly on Saturdays after the festival until the Hemp Harvest Celebration. Markets are held weekly every Saturday from 10 AM until 1 PM and Sunday from 10 AM until 1 PM.
There are 4 spots for 10×10 tents and 4 smaller spots of 5×4, select your preference in the form below. All sites are first come first served, if it’s not your vibe no hard feelings.
We’ll also be doing live music, demonstrations, and kids planting weekends. If you’re interested in any of these please indicate so in the comment box and we’ll follow up with you.
The important factors for acceptance into the market are:
No reselling, all product must be hand made or grown by the vendor in the north Georgia area. Please provide proof of authenticity of product for verification to simplesolsticefarms@gmail.com with the subject line “Verification”
Produce should be organically grown, but organic certification is not required.
Henry of Blue 42 reserves the right to deny access to any vendor.
Vendors will supply their own tent with weights of at least 40 pounds per leg, tables, chairs, and any other necessary items.
The payment Button is an automatic monthly subscription which will be manually canceled in September. The form submission button and payment button are separate, so you’ll need to fill out the form with your information and return here to submit the payment.
